In early April, I went to Michael’s mom’s house near Lake Erie to watch a total solar eclipse. It was amazing. For about 4 minutes, everything got dark and quiet. Then, as the light came back, we heard birds singing again. It was a profound experience in a strange way.
It was my first time in Western New York, and I found it serene and delightful, especially around Ithaca and the Finger Lakes region. Along the way, I was lucky to find several interesting spots perfect for photos.
