HEXY LAB — Lascivious Bioart Ritual

HEXY LAB is an immersive performance transforming laboratory practice into a ritualistic bioart environment where feminist biotechnology, witchcraft, and speculative science intersect. Through live gestures, sound, moving image, and Pepper’s Ghost illusions, the artists create an “other/worldly lab” where science becomes ritual. Apparitional figures and cellular landscapes emerge through projections, exploring reproductive autonomy, non-normative embodiment, and speculative futures beyond purity and optimization.

YAKIKAT is a New York–based performance artist and pole dancer whose work combines experimental movement with themes of deconstruction and self-evolution. Treating the pole as both sculptural apparatus and conceptual tool, their performances explore athleticism, spectacle, visibility, and embodied labor. Their work has been presented in New York at La MaMa Galleria, Grace Exhibition Space, MOMENTA, //PIXELMOUTH, ChaShaMa, and other artist-run venues.

4 Walls is a multimedia performance exploring the physical and psychological structures that shape daily life. Through sound and performance, the work reflects on architecture and systems as metaphors for the frameworks that guide and confine us. Brooklyn-based artist Joseph Sledgianowski works across multimedia, often exploring social alienation and the complexities of contemporary life.
